NetIQ Launches Best Practice User Groups Aimed at Helping Customers Maximize Success with WebTrends Web Analytics

The goal for the User Groups is to facilitate peer-to-peer interaction, enabling customers to share best practices in Web analytics to improve and maximize the success of their Web initiatives.
Standard Insurance Company is looking forward to hosting one of the User Groups. "Our objective is to facilitate a forum where companies can learn and share best practices in Web analytics to help each other improve business results," said Roger Edwards, senior systems analyst, Standard Insurance Company. "We will be discussing effective Web metrics that are commonly used and providing a demonstration of the Web metrics we use.
This week, the User Group program officially launched in Seattle, Wash. Additional meetings will follow in Portland, Ore., Philadelphia, Pa., New York, N.Y., Boston, MA, San Francisco, CA, Ottawa, ON and St. Petersburg, Fla. Participating customers will be able to share Web analytics successes and challenges with other users and learn how others are using Web analytics to improve their business performance. Each User Group is hosted by a WebTrends customer and the agenda for the meetings will be solely determined by participating customers based on what they want to gain from each others' experiences with the software and services.
