NetIQ Enhances One of the Industry’s Most Comprehensive Exchange Management Solutions to Support Microsoft Exchange Server 2003

In addition to providing support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, NetIQ also announced AppAnalyzerTM for Exchange 3.0—a Web-based reporting and analysis solution that helps IT analyze and understand Exchange systems usage.

Since e-mail is now viewed as a real-time, business-critical communications medium, IT organizations are finding it more challenging to meet end-user e-mail performance and availability expectations. AppAnalyzer 3.0 is the first and only product in the market that provides in-depth Exchange Outlook Web Access usage analysis and reporting. This allows Exchange administrators to understand how Outlook Web Access is being used so they can better allocate resources and optimize performance. AppAnalyzer supports Exchange Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003.

All products in the NetIQ Exchange Management solution currently support Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and are shipping now. AppAnalyzer 3.0 is expected to be generally available in Oct. 2003 and is priced at $600 per 100-user mailbox pack. In addition, there is a $2,500 charge for the WebAdmin console for up to five users.
