NetIQ Announces Transition of Greg Drew to General Manager of WebTrends Web Analytics Business Unit
NetIQ Corp. (Nasdaq: NTIQ), a leading provider of Systems & Security Management and Web Analytics solutions, today announced the transition of Greg Drew to general manager of its Web Analytics business unit, replacing Dan Meub, who is retiring.

Drew, formerly senior vice president of web analytics marketing, sales and services, will report directly to Charles M. Boesenberg, chief executive officer and chairman.
As general manager, Greg Drew will be responsible for worldwide strategy and day-to-day operations of the Web Analytics business unit, including development of its WebTrends® solutions. In addition, Drew, who has more than 28 years of experience in fast growing high technology companies, will continue to focus on the unit’s strategic alliances and go-to-market strategy and accelerating expansion of the Web analytics market.

Drew's background includes five years as president, CEO and chairman of the board of 800 Electronics, where he established the company as the leading online full-service electronics retailer, with revenues in excess of $50 million. He also held positions at leading high-tech companies such as Qualcomm, CentralPoint Software, Clientele Software and Hewlett-Packard Corporation.
