According to Gartner Dataquest's August 2002 report Network and Systems Management Market Share 1999-2001: Market Dips in 2001, NetIQ leads with 25 percent share in the performance and availability market. Gartner Dataquest reports NetIQ's worldwide revenue in the performance and availability market for Windows server platform grew from $65.3 million in calendar year 2000 to $117.8 million in calendar year 2001.
