NetIQ Expands International Management Team
Industry Veterans Join NetIQ to Spearhead Expansion of International Operations
SAN JOSE, Calif.
NetIQ Corp. (Nasdaq: NTIQ), a leading provider of Systems Management, Security Management and Web Analytics solutions, today announced the appointment of two seasoned executives to its international sales management team. Marc Andrews joins NetIQ as vice president of Sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and Hans Brouwer joins as vice president of Sales for the Intercontinental (ICON) region covering Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America. Both Andrews and Brouwer will report to Mark Marron, NetIQ’s senior vice president of Worldwide Sales.

As vice president of Sales for EMEA, Andrews will lead the company’s expansion throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Andrews has spent more than 15 years in the information technology industry specifically focusing on enterprise software, distributed systems management and networking. He has held executive and managerial positions at BMC Software, Computer 2000 and Novell Inc. Most recently, Andrews held the dual positions of vice president of Enterprise Systems Management and vice president of Marketing at BMC Software for the EMEA region where he was responsible for defining, building and executing the overall go to market strategies for BMC’s systems management products.
Jim Docherty, who has successfully built and managed the NetIQ EMEA sales organization for the last four years, has been named vice president of Strategic Alliances for EMEA. Brouwer has more than 15 years of experience in international sales management with enterprise software companies. He has held senior sales and management positions at Compuware, Computer Associates and IBM. Most recently, Brouwer was director of International Sales for the Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Australia, Africa and the Middle East markets at Compuware. As vice president of Sales for the ICON region at NetIQ, Brouwer will be responsible for driving the company’s expansion throughout Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America.
