NetIQ and RIM to Deliver Advanced Management Tools for Blackberry Platform
NetIQ Joins BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program as a Premier Member

In addition, NetIQ has joined RIM's BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program as a premier member.
BlackBerry Enterprise Server v3.5 for Microsoft Exchange provides new enhancements including secure access to corporate data beyond email, simplified software deployment for desktop and handheld software and support for wireless IT policies and commands.

AppManager® for BlackBerry Enterprise Server (supporting BlackBerry Enterprise Server v3.5 for Microsoft Exchange environments) will provide a comprehensive solution for advanced management, diagnostics and analytics of the performance and availability of BlackBerry systems, applications and server infrastructure. IT departments will be able to pinpoint, correlate and correct the performance and availability of their BlackBerry deployments and related Windows systems and applications through one central, easy-to-use console.

Pricing and Availability
AppManager for BlackBerry Enterprise Server (supporting BlackBerry Enterprise Server v2.5 for Microsoft Exchange environments) is currently available from NetIQ at a licensing fee of $2,400 per server. AppManager support for BlackBerry Enterprise Server v3.5 will be available in beta trials by the end of the year and is expected to be generally available in the first quarter of 2003.
