Secure Computing Announces SecureAlliance Program
SecureAlliance Program Brings Leading Technology Companies Together to Provide Interoperable Security Solutions for Access Control
SAN JOSE, Calif.
Secure Computing Corporation (NASDAQ: SCUR), a leading provider of enterprise access control solutions, today announced its SecureAlliance program to ensure that organizations deploying e-business systems can take advantage of the best secure access control solutions available. The SecureAlliance program brings together leading technology companies to certify interoperability of their product offerings with Secure Computing's access control software products.
Secure Computing welcomes the inaugural SecureAlliance program members: Baltimore Technologies, Datakey, Filanet, FiPass, Permeo, NetIQ, Radware, Rainbow Technologies, RCG, SafeNet and Sony. SecureAlliance members benefit from the recognition that they have taken their customers' needs into consideration by ensuring interoperability of their product offerings with industry-leading secure access control solutions - Sidewinder™, SafeWord™ and SmartFilter™. The SecureAlliance program offers members co-marketing and technology programs for increased visibility and an expanded customer base.
"Ensuring that our WebTrends Firewall Suite is interoperable with Sidewinder gives us a competitive advantage," said Scott Hollis, director of security product management at NetIQ. "Testing through the SecureAlliance program gives customers the assurance that our products will work seamlessly together, providing them with a solution to effectively manage and monitor their enterprise firewall and VPN."
Products accepted into the SecureAlliance program must first undergo rigorous lab tests in Secure Computing's Secure Solutions Center and must meet specific interoperability criteria. Organizations can feel confident that SecureAlliance-endorsed products meet strict integration standards and add value to Secure's robust security offerings.
"We are very pleased to offer the SecureAlliance program as a vehicle for industry leaders to provide customers leading-edge security offerings that have proven interoperability with our secure access control solutions," said Chris Peterson, vice president of OEM and channel sales at Secure Computing. "The SecureAlliance program allows customers to maximize their investment in our products by providing them with interoperable solutions that can be combined for customized secure access control."
