Q. I’m thinking about virtualizing a physical server that is operated by Windows 2000 with Windows 2008 HYPER-V. I’d like to extend and reduce each Windows 2000 C and D logical drive when I virtualize them. Please tell me if this is possible or not, and tell me the steps to do this virtualization.

A. For this scenario you will have to perform a P2P into an empty (no OS) Hyper-V virtual machine.
