In addition to identity management consulting, our company provides outsourcing of Identity Management solutions to our clients. In some cases the client continues to operate their own Active Directory environment. But sometimes the client doesn’t pay attention to our instructions about AD maintenance leading to issues. To help solve this problem, we have crafted a little solution which will notify us automagically by eMail whenever a new domain controller appears on the network.

I was recently asked to configure Mac Address authentication for our wireless network, on top of our existing Freeradius/eDirectory authentication mechanism. It took some tweaking to get it to work the way we wanted, but it is working. And I learned quite a bit more about Freeradius along the way.

Find out how you can add the OpenID authentication capability to your Novell Access Manager. The OpenID authentication is implemented as an Authentication Class of NAM and will work on Novell AccessManager version 3.1 SP1 IR1 or later.

This authentication class provides the OpenID authentication capabilities to Novell AccessManager. This class has the capabilities of LDAP Attribute mapping and auto provisioning of LDAP attribute for mapping the OpenID user with the AccessManager local user. When such mapping is done, Access Manager authorization policies can be applied for OpenID users.
