When I first started working with DirXML (now called Identity Manager), one of the things that I found difficult was understanding what went where, and why. Some years later, I still see this as a weakness of the documentation. So, in an effort to make Identity Manager (hereafter abbreviated as IDM) a bit easier to learn, here is a guided tour.
