I feel like I’ve gone on and on about our new IDM 4 courses. Possibly to the point of boring readers of this blog to tears. Can I help that I am proud of my team’s work!?

So at the risk of possibly boring someone even beyond tears, I feel obliged to mention that we’ve bundled these two new courses together. The two courses are available now as Course 7022. (Anytime you see a course number 7xxx it is a bundle intended to be used as a self-study kit–usually to prepare for a certification.)

I’m not going to go on and on about what is covered by the two courses in this bundle. You can go to http://bit.ly/hjAo2n and read a great description of Course 7022 for yourself if you want to know more.

Why do I feel obliged to mention this? Because I know that not everyone can get away from the office for 10 days, or even just 5 days, of training in a classroom (though I know that is how most people would prefer to get trained). A self-study bundle is a useful alternative when classroom training is not an option.

I hope this helps.

I’m working with Novell since NetWare 2.2 and with Novell trainings since the old C200 Networking Technologies. Regarding IDM … my first project was with DirXML 1.1a in 2001.
I also was a CNI & ATT Trainer.

I went through the C3109 & C 3110 for certification and found a huge number of quality issues that I reported to instructor@novell.com

The new course set is a “mix” of the old channel training + the two ATT (IDM and RBPM).
There is a lot of copy / paste.

I hope a revised, re-engineered version of the course will be available soon.
