Problem

The documentation for SAP HR driver for Novell Identity Manager references the SAP support site to download the latest JConnect libraries (JCO).

To download files from the SAP Support site requires a valid support contract and an account. Within the site, the location of the libraries probably changes as the web site layout changes, but it can be difficult to figure out where to get the files.

Solution

What is important to know is that the needed files are under Netweaver > Application Platform > Connectivity > Connectors > SAP Java Connector.

There should be a build for your platform.

If you are running the Remote Loader, it will likely use an included JVM that is 32-bit on that platform, even if the host OS is a 64-bit OS. In that case, you may need to get the libraries compiled for 32-bit.
