When you arrive in Salt Lake City for Novell® BrainShare 2010, you’re likely going to be worn out, excited about meeting with partners, exhibitors and friends, and anxious about getting the most from this multi-faceted conference.

That’s why we’re going to share with you the fun, off-the-hook (sort-of) events that coincide with this fabulous learning event.

Put away your notebook, stop checking your BlackBerry and share a smile and a laugh with other attendees. The BrainShare fun begins Monday night March 22 with the Novell Customer and Partner Appreciation Night.

This evening combines a variety of tantalizing food, an open bar and live music, all in one themed atmosphere. Amidst the conversations with people you haven’t seen in a year-or longer-the Novell America’s Sales Team and the Novell PartnerNet Program are showing their appreciation for your continued support.

The opening night reception might sound like a complete blast, and it will be, but Tuesday is when you get to Party with the Partners. Literally!

BrainShare is Super

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s the Novell BrainShare Party with the Super Partners! Stand back civilians as Novell invites your favorite superhero and comic book characters to mingle in an exciting night of mutant proportions.

You’ll get to meet with sponsors and attendees in a world filled with superhuman expectations. No night will equal this extraordinary occasion! Will you be saving others or will you be the one being saved?

“Pow!” Super Partners and exhibitors will be on hand to provide an evening of fun and entertainment, and answer questions about their products or services and how they integrate with Novell technologies.

“Wham!” Tuesday night is also a giveaway night. Exhibitors will likely have piles of schwag to share with attendees. Novell will have their own specially dressed superheroes circling the room giving random prizes to folks who best personify the superhero mentality.

“Slam!” Dress in superhero garb or be a superhero to others in the field, and you might just get a special prize from the BrainShare team. All while you eat and drink the night away.

Wow! Are you thinking we can’t top the Monday and Tuesday evening events? The pièce de résistance is Wednesday night’s IT Tech Talk event.

Talking Tech at BrainShare

If you’ve ever been on hold long enough for your coffee to get cold. Or if you have a peculiar problem you’d rather not bring up in front of 50 other professionals in an educational session, then this night is for you.

It’s all about real discussions, easy-to-find solutions and plenty of elbow rubbing with the folks who have created the products you use every day. IT Tech Talk night is about making sure you get your answers from the people who are making your product work.

In past years, IT Tech Talk has run until the wee hours of the night because people are so enthusiastic about learning in this setting. It’s a phenomenally productive way to share your pain points, give product feedback and get real talk from real engineering pros. It’s essentially an idea exchange network with an open bar.

A total win for everyone! Good food, good fun and good conversations are guaranteed!

So, when you’re signing up for BrainShare 2010, don’t focus only on the great educational training that takes place in the sessions. Some of the best learning, networking and fun takes place after the binders are shut, the projectors are turned off and the music starts to play.

Get yourself here this March. Regardless of your role, you’ll enjoy access to and conversations with colleagues, partners and exhibitors. But register today. Early-bird pricing ends February 19. Don’t get locked out.

For valuable connections, access to Novell professionals and partners, and fantastic after-hours events, Novell BrainShare has it all.
