Support Withdrawal Date for NetIQ AppManager, Version 6.x and NetIQ Analysis Center, Version 2.6

Dear NetIQ Customer:
This advisory is to notify you of the new support withdrawal date for
AppManager® 6.x and NetIQ® Analysis Center 2.6. You may continue to use these
product versions after these support withdrawal dates identified below; however
they will be in “Withdrawn” status under our Product Lifecycle and you will no
longer receive hotfixes, updates or support from NetIQ Technical Support for
these product versions.
At present, not all customers have completed the upgrade from NetIQ AppManager
6.x to NetIQ AppManager 7; therefore, NetIQ is announcing an extension for NetIQ
AppManager 6.x support withdrawal date from September 30, 2010 to January 31,
2011 and a further extension of support withdrawal date for NetIQ AppManager 6.x
agents (NetIQ AppManager for Windows Agent version 6.0.2 and NetIQ AppManager
for UNIX Agent version 6.5) to July 31, 2011. In order to improve and better
support our customers with their current investment, we recommend that all NetIQ
AppManager 6.x customers upgrade to NetIQ AppManager 7 as soon as possible.

functionality, easing the generation of custom reporting and the drill-down to
accessible metrics for subset data.
How do I upgrade to the new versions?
If you are current on your maintenance agreements and would like to upgrade to
the current version of NetIQ AppManager or NetIQ Analysis Center, please click

Following the end of the time periods set forth in this notice, NetIQ will no
longer provide updates, upgrades, hotfixes or accept support requests for the

remain available for a period beyond this withdrawal date.
