symptom
When exporting a GPO through the scripting interface using the GPO Export Override account, the export fails due to insufficient security permissions.

symptom
The 'Only Show Mappings for this GPO' check box must be be deselected in order to SHOW the mappings.

fix

Hotfix 53610 addresses two issues that occur when exporting or migrating or GPOs:

  1. When exporting a GPO through the scripting interface using the GPO Export Override account, the export fails due to insufficient security permissions.
    • For more information see NETIQKB53845 'Error running script:'The GPO cannot be exported due to insufficient modify rights in the GPO security filters.''
  2. When migrating a GPO, network path mapping information for MSI packages does not appear on the Network Path map tab of the Domain Mapping window if you select the Only show mappings for this GPO checkbox.
    • For more information see NETIQKB53850 'The 'Only Show Mappings for this GPO' check box must be be deselected in order to SHOW the mappings.'

This hotfix resolves the security permissions error with the scripting interface when exporting GPOS with the GPO Export Override account and corrects the behavior of the Only show mappings for this GPO checkbox so it displays mapping information for MSI packages when the checkbox is selected.
