When building a Custom Power in Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) 7.5, additional permissions allow you to specify additional capabilities you want to include with the power.  These are available after you select an Object Type and Action for your Custom Power.  The Additional Permissions list will contain a set of checkboxes for you to select.  Below is a list of the available Additional Permissions and their corresponding Object Type and Actions:

USER

  • Sets the properties of a user:
    • Disables the user account.
    • Enables the user account.
  • Retrieves the properties of a user:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Creates a user:
    • Enable email during user creation.
    • Add object to groups during user creation.
    • Create Exchange 2000 or later mailbox for created user account.
  • Clones a user:
    • Enable email for the cloned user.
    • Create Exchange 2000 or later mailbox for the cloned user.

GROUP

  • Sets the properties of a group:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Retrieves the properties of a group:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Creates a group:
    • Enable email for the group you create.
    • Add the group you create to an ActiveView.
  • Clones a group:
    • Add the group to an ActiveView during group clone.

COMPUTER

  • Sets information for the specified computer:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Gets information about the specified computer:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Creates a computer in the specified domain:
    • No Additional Permissions.

CONTACT

  • Sets the properties of a contact:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Retrieves the properties of a contact:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Creates a contact:
    • Enable email for the contact you create.
    • Add the contact you create to groups.
  • Clones a contact:
    • No Additional Permissions.

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT

  • Sets the properties of an organizational unit:
    • No Additional Permissions.
  • Retrieves the properties of an organizational unit:
