Hotfix 70114

Hotfix 70114 corrects an issue during Group Policy Object (GPO) migration where Group Policy Administrator (GPA) cannot set correct directory locations for software installation packages when the .MSI file and the transform .MST file are located in different directories. The same error occurs when you assign multiple .MST files to a single .MSI file and the .MST files are located in different directories. Currently GPA creates an error in the Application event log of any computer where you attempt to apply the migrated GPO and the GPO is not applied.

Hotfix 70114 resolves this issue and correctly defines directory locations for .MSI and .MST files in migrated GPOs even if the .MSI and .MST files are located in different directories. The corrected directory location information also ensures software packages install correctly on any computer where you apply the GPO.

Note:
Before installing this hotfix, you must install Group Policy Administrator 5.0 Service Pack 1.

To install this hotfix, perform the following steps on each GPA Console computer:

  1. Close all the GPA user interfaces.
  2. Run the GPA50000_Hotfix70114.exe file.

Hotfix 70114 modifies the faGPRInterface.dll file. By default, GPA installs this file in the Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Bin folder.

Hotfix 70119

Hotfix 70119 addresses an issue with how Group Policy Administrator (GPA) displays IP addresses in the GPO Settings report depending on how you specify the IP address in the Security Zones and Privacy section of a GPO. For example, if you specify an IP address as 72.14.203.99 and also as http://72.14.203.99, the GPO Settings report does not show the same IP address for both entries.

Hotfix 70119 resolves this issue so that the GPO Settings report displays consistent information for the same IP address regardless of how you specify it in the GPO.

Note:
Before installing this hotfix, you must install Group Policy Administrator 5.0 Service Pack 1.

To install this hotfix, perform the following steps on each GPA console computer:

  1. Close all GPA user interfaces.
  2. Run the GPA50000_Hotfix70119.exe file.

Hotfix 70119 modifies the faGPEIeak.dll file. By default, GPA installs this file in the Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Common\Bin folder.

For more information, see the NetIQ Knowledge Base article NETIQKB70119 or contact NetIQ Online Product Support.

Hotfix 70195

Hotfix 70195 addresses an issue with how Group Policy Administrator (GPA) displays Group Policy Object (GPO) link status in the Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) Analysis report. When you disable a GPO link in Active Directory (AD), enable the link of the same GPO in the GP Repository, and then run the offline RSoP Analysis report, the report displays the GPO link status in AD instead of the GPO link status in the GP Repository.

Hotfix 70195 resolves this issue so that the offline RSoP Analysis report correctly displays the GPO link status in the GP Repository.

Note:
Before installing this hotfix, you must install Group Policy Administrator 5.0 Service Pack 1.

To install this hotfix, perform the following steps on each GPA console computer:

  1. Close all GPA user interfaces.
  2. Run the GPA50000_Hotfix70195.exe file.

Hotfix 70195 modifies the following files:

  • faGPAnalysis.dll
  • faRsopReportHierarchy.xsl

By default, the faGPAnalysis.dll file is located in the Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Bin directory and the faRsopReportHierarchy.xsl file is located in the Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Bin\XML\Rsop directory.

For more information, see the NetIQ Knowledge Base article NETIQKB70195 or contact NetIQ Online Product Support.

Hotfix 70329

Hotfix 70329 addresses an issue where Group Policy Administrator (GPA) cannot expand the OUs and Sites nodes in the Add Active Directory Link dialog box for Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in the GP Repository. When you have two different forests connected with an external trust with similar names (for example, compgroup.com and group.compgroup.com) in the GP Repository and need to create a link for a GPO in the Add Active Directory Link dialog box, GPA does not expand the OUs and Sites nodes.

Hotfix 70329 resolves this issue so you can expand the OUs and Sites nodes in the Add Active Directory Link dialog box and create links for GPOs in the GP Repository.

Note:
Before installing this hotfix, you must install Group Policy Administrator 5.0 Service Pack 1.

To install this hotfix, perform the following steps on each GPA console computer:

  1. Close all GPA user interfaces.
  2. Run the GPA50000_Hotfix70329.exe file.

Hotfix 70329 modifies the faGPR.dll file. By default, GPA installs this file in the Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Bin folder.

Hotfix 70641

Hotfix 70641 addresses an issue with Group Policy Objects (GPOs) that have been exported from the GP Repository to Active Directory (AD) when you attempt to select these GPOs with Group Policy Management Console (GPMC). Inconsistencies in permissions for the exported GPOs between the SYSVOL folder and AD cause GPMC to prompt you to make the permissions between AD and the SYSVOL folder the same.

Hotfix 70641 resolves this issue and ensures you can select exported GPOs in GPMC without having to confirm changes to the permissions in the SYSVOL folder.

Note:
Before installing this hotfix, you must install Group Policy Administrator 5.0 Service Pack 1.

To install this hotfix, perform the following steps on each GPA Console computer and GPA Server computer:

  1. Close all the GPA user interfaces in the GPA Console computer.
  2. Run the GPA50000_Hotfix70641.exe file.

Hotfix 70641 modifies the faGPRInterface.dll file. By default, GPA installs this file in the Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Bin folder.

For more information, see the NetIQ Knowledge Base article NETIQKB70641 or contact NetIQ Technical Support.
