AppManager 8.0 Upgrade Overview

The following table explains the recommended upgrade path to AppManager 8.0 from previous versions.

If you are using AppManager version:

Version Recommended Upgrade Path
5.0.1, 5.0, or 4.3

Upgrade to AppManager 8.0.

Note:
To upgrade to AppManager 8.0, all your AppManager agents and monitoring jobs must be at version 4.3 or higher.

4.0.x or 3.4

Upgrade to AppManager 4.3, then Upgrade to AppManager 8.0.

Note:
AppManager 3.4 and 4.0.x are no longer supported by NetIQ. To upgrade to AppManager 8.0, all your AppManager agents and monitoring jobs must be at version 4.3 or higher.
