AppManager for Web Services (.NET) helps you easily manage the performance and availability of Web Services on .NET servers. This module uses Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) instrumentation to monitor activities of discovered Web Services.
Key Features and Benefits
- Monitors availability and health of a selected Web Service and its WSDL (Web Services Description) file. Health monitoring includes the number of faults that occurred while the Web Service was being used.
- Measures the average, minimum and maximum completion time for Web Services requests. AppManager for Web Services also measures Web Service throughput and total number of bytes transmitted.
- Provides notification and alerting on Web Services performance data with which you can set performance thresholds. The module detects deviations promptly, so you can take steps to pre-empt or correct problems.
- Collects data for subsequent analysis and reporting so you can configure these reports for analysis in time intervals from one minute to one month.
