AppManager for Remedy AR System
The NetIQ AppManager Connector for Remedy AR System allows Remedy customers to receive alerts of critical system management events and automatically generate trouble tickets or action requests based on that information. By automatically generating trouble tickets with information about system events, time-consuming and redundant data entry is avoided. IT staff members are notified of critical system events and can greatly reduce their response time. With the AppManager Connector, AppManager events can now be automatically formatted and forwarded to your customized help desk application based on the Remedy AR System. Likewise, AppManager events that are acknowledged in Remedy AR System can be automatically synchronized in AppManager's central repository and displayed in the AppManager Operator Console.

The NetIQ AppManager Connector for Remedy AR System has been certified as part of the Remedy Product Partner program. Highlights of AppManager's integration with the Remedy AR System include:
- AppManager events are forwarded to the Remedy AR System via a NetIQ-provided event adapter.
- Acknowledgement of AppManager-specific events within Remedy AR System are automatically synchronized in the AppManager repository and reflected in the AppManager Operator Console.
- Remedy users can easily integrate AppManager events into their customized Remedy application through the use of a graphical configuration tool that allows AppManager fields to be mapped to Remedy AR System fields.
- Events can be filtered based on application type and severity prior to forwarding to the Remedy AR System.
- Remedy users are notified of new AppManager events through the Remedy Notifier tool.
- AppManager can be launched from the Remedy AR System user interface.
