Connector for HP OpenView Network Node Manager
AppManager Connector for HP OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM) expands NetIQ's AppManager Suite (AppManager), the industry's leading solution for managing, diagnosing and analyzing the performance and availability of Windows- and Unix-based systems, applications and server infrastructures. Tight integration between AppManager and HP OpenView NNM, a popular network management solution, gives IT professionals the ability to view and act upon AppManager’s event information through HP OpenView NNM. The end result for mutual NetIQ and HP customers is consolidated network, hardware, system and application management within a Windows NT environment.

AppManager utilizes interfaces provided by HP OpenView NNM for integration. Highlights of this integration include:
- Creation of an AppManager alarms category for easy drill-down of AppManager-specific events.
- AppManager events are forwarded to the Network Node Manager Alarm Browser via a NetIQ component called the AppManager SmartAdapter.
- AppManager Console can be launched via the Network Node Manager menu.
