Executive Summary
This study illustrates the financial impact of deploying NetIQ® Aegis™ software. In conducting in-depth interviews with an existing customer, Forrester found that this company was able to automate a number of processes using NetIQ Aegis, allowing them to increase IT productivity and to grow their organizational capacity without increasing headcount. Moreover, Forrester calculated a three-year risk-adjusted ROI of 141% with a payback period of approximately 15 months.
Additionally, Forrester determined that, based upon the experience of the profiled customer:
- Organizations can realize benefits in the form of improved productivity for system administrators, as well as other IT professionals, through the automation of common IT processes.
- Higher ROIs are achievable with each additional process automated through NetIQ Aegis. In general, an organization would expect greater returns as more workflows are implemented to reduce the amount of time required to perform a given process.
