Jeff Hawn
Chairman, President and CEO
Jeff Hawn serves as Attachmate's chairman, president and CEO, determining overall corporate direction and setting the company's business and acquisition strategies.
Mr. Hawn's experience includes multiple strategic and senior-level positions related to the mainframe software market. Prior to joining Attachmate, he was an operating partner with JMI Inc., where he led the firm's private equity acquisition and operating activities. Previously, Mr. Hawn was a senior vice president at BMC Software, where he held several key management positions. Additionally, he has served as a partner at the global consulting firm, McKinsey & Company.
Mr. Hawn serves as an active member on several boards, including Applimation, Pervasive Software and Vignette. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas.
Charles Sansbury
Chief Financial Officer
Charles Sansbury brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic, financial, and operational leadership to his role at Attachmate. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he directs corporate and worldwide finance and operations for the company. He joined Attachmate from Vignette Corporation, where he was CFO of the publicly-traded provider of enterprise content management software from 2001 to 2006. Mr. Sansbury also served as Vignette's Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, with responsibility for the company's mergers, acquisitions, and strategic financing initiatives. He was also a principal in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley, specializing in the software, professional services, and semiconductor industries. Mr. Sansbury holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
Bob Flynn
General Manager, Host Connectivity Solutions
In his role as general manager, Bob Flynn oversees an operation that includes development, product management, marketing, technical support, sales, and sales operations, focusing on Attachmate's Host Connectivity and PC Lifecycle Management business. He joined Attachmate in 1998, following a 17-year career with IBM in numerous management and executive positions, specializing in service and support for large enterprise environments. Mr. Flynn holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Oregon State University.
Logan Wray
General Manager, NetIQ Business Unit
Logan Wray leads the NetIQ Business Unit and is responsible for all development, product management, marketing, technical support, sales and operational functions. Prior to joining Attachmate in 2005, Logan Wray was Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Motive, Inc., where he had responsibility for all customer-facing operations, including sales and service. He served as the CFO for Sterling Software from 1997 until its sale to Computer Associates in 2000. Having begun his career with Arthur Young in 1981, he became a partner with Ernst & Young, working with large technology companies in the Southwestern U.S., including DSC Communications, i2, and Datapoint. Mr. Wray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from the University of Virginia.
Thomas W. Hull
Vice President, Attachmate & NetIQ North America Sales
Tom Hull leads both the NetIQ and Attachmate North America sales teams, including the direct sales force, field technical resources, and the company's relationships with channel partners. Since joining the company in 2003, he has served in various executive roles, including Vice President of Worldwide Sales for WRQ prior to its merger with Attachmate. Previously, Mr. Hull was Vice President of Sales for GoAhead Software, Inc., where he managed sales, business development, and client service organizations. He has held sales management positions at several companies, including IBM Corporation, RealNetworks, and Sequent Computer Systems. Mr. Hull received his Bachelor of Arts degree in government from Dartmouth College.
Chris Pick
Vice President of Products and Marketing, NetIQ Business Unit
As Vice President of Products and Marketing, Chris Pick is responsible for NetIQ’s strategic direction and world-wide marketing. He leads a global team responsible for field programs, public and analyst relations, product marketing and management, and business development. Under Chris’ leadership, NetIQ’s products have become best-of-breed in their respective markets and NetIQ has developed and launched the first intelligent workflow and IT Process Automation platform in the industry. Prior to NetIQ, Chris spent more than 14 years in marketing and product management positions at PentaSafe and e-Security. He is a former management consultant with Ernst and Young and is a recognized expert in the field of computer security and IT operations.
Roberto (Rob) Reiner
Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering, NetIQ Business Unit
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President of Engineering, Rob Reiner is responsible for the technical direction and development of NetIQ Performance, Security and Administration products. Under his leadership, NetIQ has adopted a strategic development process that incorporates increased customer feedback and product delivery, which maximize adoption, usability, and efficiency of NetIQ solutions. Before Attachmate, Rob spent six years at BMC Software in various research and development roles, including Director of Engineering responsible for Patrol and BMC Core infrastructure. In 2001, Rob joined PentaSafe as Vice President of Engineering. When PentaSafe was acquired by NetIQ in 2002, he continued as Vice President of the Security product line and was promoted to CTO in 2005. Rob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
Mike Steinmetz
Vice President of Worldwide Services and Support, NetIQ Business Unit
As Vice President of Worldwide Services and Support, Mike Steinmetz is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing post-sale support globally, including maintenance renewals, professional services, and technical support. Prior to joining NetIQ in 2004, Mike worked at BMC Software, where he held many positions, including Manager, Professional Services; Technical Services Director; Business Unit Field Director for the Scheduling and Output Management business units (European assignment); and Manager, Global Sales Support. Mike leverages his broad knowledge and expertise in the IT industry, inclusive of technical development and support, to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and English from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pa.
